The Full Story
Hi, I’m Ryan.
My journey with computers started in 2019 when I decided I wanted to build my own PC. Instead of spending a bunch of money all at once, I started buying used machines that other people thought were junk — figuring out what was wrong with them, fixing them, and slowly building my way up.
That process sparked something in me.
I began to love the challenge of diagnosing problems, refurbishing hardware, and bringing old devices back to life. Looking back at some of my early builds, I cringe a little — but that’s part of the journey. Every project sharpened my skills.
In 2023, I took a job with an electronics recycler in Washington called PC Recycle, where I worked hands-on with laptops and desktops every day. That experience helped me really understand professional refurbishment, data handling, and the importance of responsible electronics recycling.
Later that year, I moved back to Oregon and launched Go Go Gadget Repairs here in Lane County.
Today, I help people with in-home computer setup, repairs, data recovery, and tech installation. One of the most rewarding parts of the job is helping someone recover photos and memories they thought were lost — and making sure their old devices are handled responsibly.
I believe in honest service, clear pricing, and giving technology a second life whenever possible.
If you need help, I’d be glad to serve you.
